Memory Lane Monday

I got this idea off of Brooke's Blog. It sounded so cute and when I read the comments people left for her I just had to play so..........

Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

What a fun game. I have so many memories of you Cara, all great ones. But just one? o.k. It has to be the memory of the night we met at Jen's house. The instant friendship, as if we had known each other before and were old friends catching up. The hours of laughing and story telling. That is a great memory for me.

Um...wow -- how could I pick just ONE memory?? There are so many! :o) I think one of the funniest was when it was blazing hot outside, we had been in my car with NO a/c, we had come home with Taco Bell and we had food and drinks piled up in our hands. We were standing at the door, trying to get in when all of a sudden, someone dropped their DP and is splashed ALL over the place! We just stood there, staring in amazement at the mess we had just made. Then you just blurt out, "OPEN THE DARN DOOR!!" It made me laugh -- even though we were both so frustrated right then.

I have SOO many fun memories with you, Cara Jane, so this was hard. I could list TONS!! But, what a cute game! I think I'll put it on my blog, too! Thanks for the idea!!

I have so many memories of you! My first memory is of the vacation to California my family took AGES ago. I don't even know how old I was. I remember playing on the beach and you and Amy draped me in seaweed! We have a picture of you sporting seaweed around your neck and posing like a model in our family album! I also remember you and Tom taught me and a friend country dancing! We played some mortal combat that night too I think and then my friend and I were off to the dance to find true love! (or at least not make fools of ourselves). My favorite memory is last time I was there and we were able to spend lots of time together even though you were really busy. You made me feel like I was the only thing on your schedule even though I'm sure you had tons to do. You give freely of yourself and I love you!

Cara-
I have lots of fun memories of you. I remember the first time going over to your house & I was telling you how Mike's truck got stolen. Kelsey kept trying to get my attention & I was getting after her for interrupting. She finally got my attention & told me we left the truck at Paige's house. I'm sure you thought I was a nut!
Also the fun family trips we have gone on with you. Always so much fun!!!
Love ya!
